Game Mechanics & Rules

Millionaire Peg Ball simulates a ball falling through a triangular peg grid. At each peg, the ball deflects left or right with equal 50% probability. The final slot determines the payout multiplier.

1. Choose the number of rows, 8 to 16. More rows widen the outcome distribution; top multipliers depend on both rows and risk.
2. Choose a risk level: Low, Medium, or High. Low compresses multipliers around 1x; High concentrates the largest multipliers at the extreme edge slots.
3. Set your bet within the displayed currency and mode limits; Millionaire Mode defaults to a $1-equivalent minimum.
4. Press Drop Ball (or Space). The SHA-256 provably fair hash seeds Ruby Random, which generates one left-or-right direction per row.
5. The ball settles in one of (rows + 1) slots at the bottom. The slot multiplier is applied to your bet and paid into your balance.

Optimal Strategy & Analysis

Peg Ball's payout distribution follows a binomial pattern weighted by the number of rows. At 16 rows, the centre-slot probability is C(16,8)/2^16 ~ 19.6%, while each outermost slot has a probability of 1/2^16 ~ 0.0015%. High risk concentrates extreme multipliers in these low-probability edge slots; Low risk compresses multipliers toward the centre for reduced variance.

Row count is the primary volatility dial. An 8-row High risk drop has a 1/256 (0.39%) chance of hitting the outermost slot; a 16-row High risk drop drops this to 1/65,536 (0.0015%).

Expected return is about 98% (97.88%-98.00%) across all row and risk combinations in standard play. Strategy is primarily a variance choice. Low risk with 8-12 rows produces frequent near-bet outcomes; High risk with 14-16 rows produces rare extreme outcomes.

Provably Fair Verification

Each peg decision (left or right) comes from Ruby Random seeded with SHA-256(server_seed + ':' + client_seed + ':' + nonce). For 16 rows, 16 rand(2) calls determine the full path before the animation plays. The committed server seed hash is shown in the fairness panel before the session begins.

Choose Reveal Server Seed in Fairness to end and reveal the session. Recompute the hash with the recorded client seed and nonce, then generate directions with Ruby-compatible Random. The resulting path and slot outcome must match the recorded drop bit-for-bit.

Millionaire Mode Technical Details

Millionaire Mode in Peg Ball is free to enable; there is no separate per-round fee. Each round can trigger a Golden Ball; the in-game Millionaire Mode panel shows exactly how the trigger works for Peg Ball.

While Millionaire Mode is active, Peg Ball uses a separate Millionaire table returning about 85% instead of 98%; the jackpot adds about 6.7 percentage points, for roughly 92% overall. That gap is what funds the jackpot shot on every round; the game mechanics are unchanged.

A Golden Ball opens the jackpot condition. The jackpot is a fixed $1,000,000, pre-funded and paid as a single transaction when the condition resolves.

The jackpot does not accumulate between rounds. Every Golden Ball is a full attempt at the headline figure.
