Game Mechanics & Rules

Millionaire Limbo generates a provably fair multiplier result from 1.00x to theoretically unlimited. The player sets a target multiplier before the round; if the result equals or exceeds the target, the player wins target × bet × 0.98. If the result falls below the target, the bet is lost.

1. Set your bet amount.
2. Enter a target multiplier. Any value above 1.00x is permitted; higher targets increase potential payout but reduce win probability proportionally.
3. The win probability for any target T is: P(win) = (1/T) × 0.98, capped at 98% for targets near 1.01x.
4. Click Roll. The SHA-256 hash generates the result multiplier.
5. If the result ≥ your target, you win: payout = bet × target × 0.98. If result < target, the bet is lost.
6. Adjust your target between rounds freely.

Optimal Strategy & Analysis

The formula P(win) = 0.98/T and payout = T ensures that bet × P(win) × payout = 0.98 × bet for all T. The key differentiator from Dice is the uncapped multiplier ceiling, which allows access to arbitrarily high variance without the implicit probability floor imposed by Dice's 2-98 target range.

At targets above 99x, Limbo provides access to win probabilities that Dice cannot accommodate (P < 1%). This makes Limbo the preferred game for high-multiplier sessions targeting 100x, 1000x, or above. The expected value per roll remains identical to Dice, but the volatility scales without limit, requiring proportionally larger bankroll reserves for extreme targets.

Targets between 2x and 10x offer the best balance of session duration and multiplier size for medium bankrolls. For ultra-high targets (100x+), expect losing streaks of 200-500 rolls between hits, necessitating a bankroll of at least 200x the bet size to survive the expected variance without ruin.

A simple auto-roll session at 2x target over 10,000 rolls will produce results very close to the 49% win rate and 2x payout that theory predicts, with variance shrinking as sqrt(N) increases. This makes Limbo useful for verifying the provably fair system empirically.

Provably Fair Verification

The Limbo result is derived from SHA-256(server_seed + ':' + client_seed + ':' + nonce) using the same formula as Dice: result = (hex_to_int(hash) mod 10000) / 100, producing a uniform float in [0, 99.99]. The Limbo result is then converted to a multiplier: multiplier = 100 / result (for result > 0), which creates the distribution where P(result ≥ 1/T) = T ≈ Target comparison uses the raw multiplier value.

All verification procedures for Limbo are identical to Dice: committed server seed hash, player-controlled client seed, revealed server seed on rotation, and nonce increment per roll. The Limbo multiplier formula from the hash is published in WickedBet's fairness documentation. Players can compute the multiplier for any historical roll using the revealed server seed and compare against the recorded result.

Millionaire Mode Technical Details

Millionaire Mode in Limbo is free to enable; there is no separate per-round fee. Each round can trigger a Golden Roll; the in-game Millionaire Mode panel shows exactly how the trigger works for Limbo.

While Millionaire Mode is active, standard wins pay at 90% of the off-mode rate. That 10% margin is what funds the jackpot shot on every round; the main-game mechanics are unchanged.

A Golden Roll opens the jackpot condition. The jackpot is a fixed $1,000,000, pre-funded and paid as a single transaction when the condition resolves.

The jackpot does not accumulate between rounds. Every Golden Roll is a full attempt at the headline figure.
