Millionaire HiLo
Game Mechanics & Rules
Millionaire HiLo is a multi-round card prediction game. A card from a standard 52-card deck is revealed; the player predicts whether the next card will be Higher, Lower, or the Same suit. Payouts are computed from the exact probability of the prediction given the composition of the remaining deck.
- Set your bet amount to begin the first round.
- A card is displayed. Observe its rank (A=1, 2-10, J=11, Q=12, K=13) and suit.
- Select "Higher" if you believe the next card's rank is strictly greater, "Lower" if strictly less, or "Same" if the rank is equal (regardless of suit). Probability and payout for each option are displayed before selection.
- The next card is drawn from the remaining deck. If your prediction is correct, the multiplier updates and you may continue or cash out.
- An incorrect prediction ends the round and the bet is lost.
- The deck resets after each full multi-round sequence or after a round ends.
Bets and Payouts
HiLo main bet: predict whether the next card is Higher, Lower, or the Same rank as the current card. Payouts derive from exact hypergeometric probability of the remaining deck. Skip current card to replace it. Cash out any time. Two optional first-card side bets settle on the dealt card.
Per-card bets
| Bet | Payout | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Higher | Dynamic | Wins if next card ranks higher than current. |
| Lower | Dynamic | Wins if next card ranks lower. |
| Same | Higher | Wins on exact rank match. Rare, big payout. |
| Skip | - | Replace current card without betting. |
Side bets
| Bet | Payout | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Big Card | 5:1 | Pays if the first card dealt is a King or an Ace. |
| Small Card | 2:1 | Pays if the first card dealt is a 2, 3, 4, or 5. |
| Suit Caller | 2.7:1 | Pick a suit before the deal. Pays if the first card dealt is that suit. |
| Pinpoint Rank | 11:1 | Pick a rank before the deal. Pays if the first card dealt is that rank. |

Manual and Auto Modes
HiLo supports Manual and Auto. Auto picks each card using a chosen strategy (e.g. follow-odds) and cashes out at a target multiplier.
Manual
Set bet, press Start. Each card, pick Higher / Lower / Same, or Skip. Cash out any time.
Auto
Set bet count (max 1000), pick a strategy and cashout multiplier. Auto plays each round by the strategy and exits at the target.
Stop conditions:
- Bet count reached.
- Manual Stop.
- Prediction wrong (round loses; auto continues to next round unless stopped).
- Server error.

Optimal Strategy & Analysis
HiLo payouts are derived from exact hypergeometric probability based on remaining deck composition. If the current card is rank R, the probability of Higher = (cards remaining with rank > R) / (cards remaining - 1). Probability of Lower is symmetric. Probability of Same = (remaining cards of rank R - 1) / (cards remaining - 1). The payout multiplier for each option is 1/P(option) × 0.98.
The value of tracking the deck composition is significant in HiLo. After a 2 is revealed, the Higher prediction carries approximately 96% probability and pays only about 1.02x - high confidence, minimal reward. After a 7 (the median rank), Higher and Lower are approximately even (48% each). After a King, Lower carries about 96% probability at 1.02x. Players should identify and exploit asymmetric information states - revealed cards near the extremes (A, 2, K) offer near-certain predictions with marginal payouts but very low risk of round termination.
A near-certain prediction chain (always predicting the high-probability option based on revealed card rank) is a low-variance strategy for extended multiplier accumulation. After 10 consecutive near-certain predictions, the compounded multiplier exceeds 1.02^10 ≈ 1.22x - substantial over a long chain. Mixing in medium-probability predictions (50/50 at rank 7) increases expected multiplier but also increases round-termination probability.
The "Same" prediction carries the lowest probability for most ranks (approximately 4/51 ≈ 7.8% at the start of a session) and the highest payout multiplier. It is never mathematically optimal as a session strategy but produces the largest single-prediction multiplier jump in the game. Sophisticated players use the Same prediction selectively when they judge the psychological upside justifies the 92.2% failure rate.
Provably Fair Verification
The HiLo deck is generated using a SHA-256-seeded Fisher-Yates shuffle of a standard 52-card deck. The hash SHA-256(server_seed + ':' + client_seed + ':' + nonce) seeds the shuffle, and the entire shuffled deck order is determined before the first card is revealed. Each subsequent card drawn is the next card in this pre-determined sequence, meaning the complete deck order for any round is verifiable from the seed.
After client seed rotation (which triggers server seed revelation), players can reconstruct the full deck order for any historical round by recomputing the SHA-256 hash and running the same Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm. The sequence of revealed cards must match the shuffled deck order exactly. WickedBet publishes the shuffle specification and any player can independently verify their complete HiLo history.
Millionaire Mode uses an independent hash chain ('_mm' nonce suffix) for the Golden Bonus trigger and stage challenges. The 10-stage Golden Bonus card sequence is separately pre-determined from the main game deck, ensuring statistical independence between jackpot eligibility and regular round outcomes.
Millionaire Mode Technical Details
Millionaire Mode in HiLo is free to enable; there is no separate per-round fee. Each round can trigger a Golden Round; the in-game Millionaire Mode panel shows exactly how the trigger works for HiLo.
While Millionaire Mode is active, standard wins pay at 90% of the off-mode rate. That 10% margin is what funds the jackpot shot on every round; the main-game mechanics are unchanged.
A Golden Round opens the jackpot condition. The jackpot is a fixed $1,000,000, pre-funded and paid as a single transaction when the condition resolves.
The jackpot does not accumulate between rounds. Every Golden Round is a full attempt at the headline figure.
Frequently Asked Questions
What side bets does Millionaire HiLo offer and what are their payouts?
Six side bets are available: Big Card, Small Card, Suit Caller, Pinpoint Rank, Court Card, Midline. Each is an independent wager placed before the round and settles on its own outcome, regardless of the main result.
What is Millionaire HiLo and how does it work?
Millionaire HiLo is a provably fair card prediction game using a SHA-256-shuffled 52-card deck. Players predict Higher, Lower, or Same for successive draws, with payouts derived from exact hypergeometric probability based on remaining deck composition. A correct prediction chains into the next card; an incorrect prediction ends the round.
How does Millionaire Mode function in Millionaire HiLo?
Millionaire Mode is free to enable with no per-round fee. While it is on, standard wins pay at 90% of the off-mode rate; that 10% margin funds the jackpot shot on every round. Each round can trigger a Golden Round (the in-game Millionaire Mode panel shows how the trigger works for this game); the $1,000,000 jackpot is pre-funded and paid in full when the condition resolves.
How can I verify Millionaire HiLo is provably fair?
The complete HiLo deck order is determined by SHA-256(server_seed + ':' + client_seed + ':' + nonce) used to seed a Fisher-Yates shuffle of 52 cards. All cards are pre-determined before the first reveal. After client seed rotation and server seed revelation, the full deck order for any historical round can be reconstructed and verified against the displayed card sequence.
Which cryptocurrencies are accepted for Millionaire HiLo?
BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT (ERC-20/TRC-20) and BNB are all supported. Deposits credit your account in USD; every stake, payout and jackpot in Millionaire HiLo is denominated in USD regardless of which crypto you sent. Withdrawals return on-chain to a wallet address you nominate at cash-out time, subject to standard network confirmation.
What is the mathematically optimal strategy for Millionaire HiLo?
Optimal HiLo strategy maximises prediction probability per round. Cards near rank A, 2, or K offer 90%+ probability predictions with minimal payout; mid-rank cards offer 50/50 predictions with 2x payout. A strategy of always selecting the highest-probability option minimises round-termination risk while producing slow multiplier growth. Higher-variance strategies use mid-rank 50/50 predictions for faster multiplier accumulation at higher round-termination probability.
