Game Mechanics & Rules

Millionaire Crash generates a crash point from a provably fair hash and displays a continuously rising multiplier starting at 1.00x. Players must submit a cash-out instruction before the multiplier reaches the crash point; failure to do so results in a total loss of the bet.

  1. Enter your bet amount before the round begins.
  2. Optionally set an auto-cashout target multiplier. If the live multiplier reaches this value, your bet is cashed out automatically.
  3. The round starts: the multiplier rises from 1.00x at an accelerating rate.
  4. At any point before the crash, click Cash Out to lock in your current multiplier as your payout.
  5. If the multiplier crashes before your cash-out - whether manual or auto - you lose your bet.
  6. The crash point is determined by the SHA-256 hash and is verifiable after each round; review it in the fairness panel.

Bets and Payouts

Crash main bet: your stake plus the cash-out decision. Multiplier grows continuously; crash point is pre-determined by SHA-256. Cash out before the crash to win at the current multiplier. Five threshold side bets settle on the same crash point, independent of when (or if) you cashed out.

Manual and Auto Modes

Manual cashout by button or Space. Auto-cashout at a pre-set multiplier. Auto-bet for fixed rounds with set auto-cashout.

Manual

Bet, watch the multiplier climb, press Space to cash out. If you wait too long, it crashes and you lose the stake.

Auto

Auto-bet repeats your bet for a set round count with a pre-chosen auto-cashout multiplier.

Stop conditions:

  • Round count reached.
  • Manual Stop.
  • Server error.

Replay and Shared Replay

Your own replays

Each completed round joins your history. Click any row to replay with the original crash point and cash-out timing.

Shared replays

Every round has a shareable link. Anyone can watch the multiplier climb and see where it crashed.

What gets reproduced

Replays reproduce the round from its provably fair proof. Balances are not re-applied.

Optimal Strategy & Analysis

The crash point distribution follows a mathematical model where P(crash ≥ x) = 1/x, producing a median crash point of approximately 2.0x. This means approximately 50% of rounds crash at or below 2x, 25% crash at or below 4x, and so on. No cashout strategy changes the expected value; the edge is constant.

Auto-cashout at a fixed multiplier is the mathematically cleanest strategy. Setting auto-cashout at 2.0x produces a win rate of roughly 48% (accounting for the house edge), a known payout per win, and stable long-run EV. Lower auto-cashout targets increase win frequency but reduce per-win payout proportionally. Higher targets decrease win frequency while increasing per-win payout - the expected value remains constant across all auto-cashout settings.

Martingale systems (doubling after each loss) are commonly applied to Crash and are especially dangerous due to the high house edge and the possibility of extremely low crash points. A crash at 1.01x on a doubled bet produces a total loss at 2x the original stake. The variance of Crash at high cashout targets is sufficient to produce long losing streaks that exhaust any finite bankroll in finite time with probability 1.

At $20 stake, the jackpot EV contribution is approximately $0.017 per round. While Millionaire Mode is active, standard wins pay at 90% of the off-mode rate; that 10% margin is what funds the jackpot shot on every round.

Provably Fair Verification

The crash point is derived from SHA-256(server_seed + ':' + client_seed + ':' + nonce). The hash is converted to a float, and the crash point is computed using the formula: crash_point = max(1, floor(99 / h) / 100) where h is a normalised hash value in (0,1). This formula produces the distribution P(crash ≥ x) ≈ 1/x for x ≥ The crash point is therefore deterministic from the seed inputs and verifiable before or after the round.

The server seed hash is committed before each round begins. Players can verify by obtaining the revealed server seed after their session, rehashing it, and confirming the committed hash matches. The crash point computation is then reproducible using the formula above with any standard SHA-256 implementation. WickedBet publishes the exact formula in the fairness documentation for independent verification.

How Millionaire Mode's jackpot trigger works for Crash is shown in the in-game Millionaire Mode panel. Both hash chains are committed simultaneously, and both are revealed at session end for complete auditability.

Millionaire Mode Technical Details

Millionaire Mode in Crash is free to enable; there is no separate per-round fee. Each round can trigger a Golden Round; the in-game Millionaire Mode panel shows exactly how the trigger works for Crash.

While Millionaire Mode is active, standard wins pay at 90% of the off-mode rate. That 10% margin is what funds the jackpot shot on every round; the main-game mechanics are unchanged.

A Golden Round opens the jackpot condition. The jackpot is a fixed $1,000,000, pre-funded and paid as a single transaction when the condition resolves.

The jackpot does not accumulate between rounds. Every Golden Round is a full attempt at the headline figure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What side bets does Millionaire Crash offer and what are their payouts?

Nine side bets are available: Survived 2x, Survived 5x, Survived 10x, Survived 25x, Survived 100x, Flash Crash, Just Made It, Roll the Dice, Moon Shot. Each is an independent wager placed before the round and settles on its own outcome, regardless of the main result.

What is Millionaire Crash and how does it work?

Millionaire Crash is a provably fair multiplier game where a crash point is pre-determined by a SHA-256 hash of the combined server and client seeds. A displayed multiplier rises from 1.00x until it reaches the crash point. Players must submit a cash-out instruction before the crash; success locks in the current multiplier as payout.

How does Millionaire Mode function in Millionaire Crash?

Millionaire Mode is free to enable with no per-round fee. While it is on, standard wins pay at 90% of the off-mode rate; that 10% margin funds the jackpot shot on every round. Each round can trigger a Golden Round (the in-game Millionaire Mode panel shows how the trigger works for this game); the $1,000,000 jackpot is pre-funded and paid in full when the condition resolves.

How can I verify Millionaire Crash is provably fair?

The crash point is computed as max(1, floor(99/h)/100) where h is derived from SHA-256(server_seed + ':' + client_seed + ':' + nonce). The server seed hash is committed before each round. After rotating your client seed, the previous server seed is revealed. Recompute the formula with the revealed seed to verify any historical crash point.

Which cryptocurrencies are accepted for Millionaire Crash?

BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT (ERC-20/TRC-20) and BNB are all supported. Deposits credit your account in USD; every stake, payout and jackpot in Millionaire Crash is denominated in USD regardless of which crypto you sent. Withdrawals return on-chain to a wallet address you nominate at cash-out time, subject to standard network confirmation.

What is the mathematically optimal strategy for Millionaire Crash?

Auto-cashout at any fixed multiplier produces the same expected value per bet. Lower auto-cashout targets increase round frequency and reduce per-round variance. Higher targets produce more variance but the same long-run return. From a pure EV standpoint, the optimal strategy is the one that minimises variance relative to bankroll size, which is a fixed low auto-cashout target.
